    Cool XP 2500 Barton

    I need a beter heatsink and 80mm fan than I have on my XP 2500 Barton. It is running at 124F. What tempature should I try to keep the chip at? I have a top Blowhole with a 80mm fan and a 80mm fan in the side panel.Do I need to put a 120mm fan in the side panel instead of the 80mm fan or What? Thanks

    Need rec on Haetsink and fan for xp 2500 Barton

    I need advise on a good, inexpensive heat sink and quite 80mm fan like a panaflo that will cool the above chip. Itis now running a 123 degrees F. I have a top 80mm and a side 80mm fan. I live where I have to order everything. Any help I will thank you for. Thanks

    I am using a Shuttle AN35N Ultra Motherboard with an AMD XP 2500 Barton chip. Why can't my mother board identify the 2500 Barton? It can identify a XP 2400 and 2600 chip. Don't know if it can if they ware Bartons. Thanks

    I am planning on buying a Shuttle motherboard, AN35 Ultra. This is a Nforce2 Ultra 400 board. Can I use only one stick of DDR 400 ram? It is listed as dual channel. Shuttle make almost the same board with a single channel for ram. I plan on putting an XP 2500 Barton chip and 512mb ddr400 ram...
