Hey folks,
Anyone got a good recommendation on a KVM switch that meets the following criterion:
- 2 machines
- DVI
- Supports USB keyboard & mouse
- Supports 1680x1050 resolution
I am using an Acer Al2216W 22" LCD.
I don't really care about sound/microphone features
Thanks in...
Hey gang,
I am looking for some guidance here on what to buy.
Currently I have RR through Time warner with their phone service.
I have no issues with the service, but since TWC and Comcast are merging(or whatever), my cable modem will now cost me an additional $3/month.
I was looking...
I bought this signal booster to increase my range on my older .B router and it works.
I have recently bought the WRT54G and after doing some reading on the Linksys site, it seems that the WSB24 is ONLY for the BEFW11S4.
Is this true?
NYHoustonMan,
I am a recent purchaser of a new LCD and went through the learning that you are going through.
Here is a link to a site that I found most educational in the area of differences in the cable types.
Cheers,
Chris
All,
I have been a long time G450 user with dual 21" CRTs.
I have upgraded to dual 18" LCD's and I think the G450 card needs to be retired.
I would like to know what cards people or using that support dual DVI-A connections.
I was looking at the Matrox P650, P760 or Parhelia.
I am not...
All,
I am in need of some help figuring out how to make my dual display work.
I have dual 21's that I have been powering by a Matrox G450. I have the display set to 3200x1200. It displays such that the 'start menu' on windows is in the lower left corner of the left monitor and clock is in...
Grumpyman,
You are right, with the replacement modem, it might be worth it.
I disagree with your comment that it is 'free'. The cost of the modem rental/ usage is incorporated into the total pricing scheme of the monthly cost of the service. What I was hoping to do was achieve some sort...
Jamison,
In your case you are fortunate to have had these units to be replaced.
I wanted to get a feel of - Am I in a boat by myself with TWC or is everyone who subscribes to cable service equally screwed.
It looks to be half and half so far. :)
Grumpyman,
What I am looking at is cost benefit for my monthly service, not increase in speeds. My speeds are fine.
When I pay my $44.95 per month cost, rolled into that cost is the modem usage/rental fee. If you look at it over the long run, if I pay $10 a month for 60 months for a cable...
Maggotry-
Too bad we are getting the short end of the deal on the modem. :(
I am acutally off Hwy6 at Dulles. Back behind there in First Colony. Good to know you neighbor. :)
