Good luck with your kingston v100 ssd Impulse69. Mine died and couldn't be recognized by bios after a few months. There are a bunch of similar reports on newegg. Kingston says the firmware is to blame, and recommends you upgrade it. reviews and kingston's responses in the links...
I have a first gen core i5 XPS 15 laptop from dell.
The problem is clicking/sparking sound from power adapter.
If i play a flash stream in one browser window, and scroll up and down in another it can click as many times as about 150 per minute?
If I leave it idling it can click as few times...

I have the audio stuttering issue.
Seems that disabling lenovo power management from boot in msconfig works to stop it. Stops the stuttering, but not when switching between apps.
Lots my hud for volume control et cetera... for now
