    Thank you both for your responses. But the problem starting recurring that very night, despite there being no SpeedFan on the system. I am having the MoBo replaced tomorrow. Seems like the only thing to do?

    Thanks, Matt. I'll rule out power supply as the cause then. As for your first point, the fan actually was cooling them down. I very closely monitored GPU and CPU temperatures by logging the changes every second. The temperatures were normal when the shutdowns happened. So, do you have any...
