    another weird HD problem.

    Things that I'll do. 1. backup files from the HD to another spare HD. 2. wipe the MBR and also do a DISKWIPE (zero out the HD) with gdisk 3. reinstall OS. If same problem persists, it could be the HD, RAM or MB.

    difference between ups switched or unswitched outlet?

    I just bought a rackmount UPS 1500va from tripplite. In the manual there isn't any explanation about these outlets. which outlet should I plug my server? This tripplite provides a software to monitor the ups and shutdown the server. .... Help ... i'm a nob admin
