It seems like he is not overclocking so anywhere he goes the system should be the same. I suggest going with dell or alienware.
I strongly suggest he build his own computer... It will come out to around only 1.1k with the same parts he wants a ds3, p5b or s3 motherboard.
Just did the same thing as you! And my results are the same. I dunno if the temps are going to stay this way. I'll update this in a few hours! Right now only 47c load!
I bought this case because it seemed pretty good for the price.

Nice design and simple layout. Anyways the problem is the case features two intake fans in the front and one outtake fan in the back. (all 80mm) plus a side duct...
wow 55c? My old P4 only runs at 40c and its a compaq lol. I'm still waiting on my e6300 to come.

According to this thread a lot of the temp reading software arn't correct.
Damn that board is $220 at frys. I guess i might order that or the DS3. I shouldn't of bought the OCZ ram. I might return it to outpost, but what kinda ram do you recommend?
Yeah, i got time but i just wanted to get a system up and running by next week before school starts. My parts are coming monday/tuesday. I'm thinking of just going to frys and buying the motherboard. Does the Asus P5B $150 version have a better bios and stability?
Which bios version do you recommend? The retail f4 or f4c beta? I have seen people have issues like http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=111521 ect. I bought the ram on outpost so returning it is possible but would take time. What do you guys recommend?
