I don't have much experience with the whole 'region codes' issues. I'm pretty sure that it deals with the ability to copy DVDs though. Since I've got this thing, can someone tell me how I can tell if I even need to hack it. How do I know if the region code is 'standing in my way from doing...

These speakers are THE JOINT!!! Ordered 12/23 got'em 1/8 I even brought them downstairs one day and hooked my portable MP3/VCD player. not as good as my bose but at less than half the cost.....a true bargain.

I hope you're right, it seems to be getting worse. The ratings for these things are astounding. You'd think that we like to watch that stuff. I mean I even have to pop myself in the head when the commercial comes on...I'm thinkin' ...."Yeah! I need to check that out"........NO I DON'T!!!!

Has life become such a bummer, that we must succumb to mind warping shows like 'Temptation Island' or 'Fear Factor'. What's the deal with that? What's the psycho-analyitical precept behind it all?
