man i tried that and it still didnt work i tried it outside of the case with nothing connected except the video card and i still get no video

could i keep the board on that soft sheet that they put under the board and put it on the static bag then connect everything to it that needs to be connected and start it ??? then if i do that and the video and the post still doesnt show up. what would i do next? i never mentioned this...

Yea the psu works fine and i have metal standoffs in my case but not in every spot.....could this short the board if i dont have the stand offs on "Every" single spot for the board causing my video and post not to show up?? o yea the cpu i have installed on it is a 3.2 cheapo celeron lga 775
