My advice is to try out the cable modem first and only if the cable is slow (due to many users on your node)go with DSL. You can try your speed on www.dslreports.com, an excellent page. I am 4500k download /1200k upload with cable... what else do I need to say? ;)

I just installed the above mentioned network card and my boot time in win98SE went from 20 seconds to 3 minutes?? What the heck? I assume it's some kind of network status checking program but I cannot find anything to remove/disable. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated...
