You may try it on "disable" as well. Previous IDE Raid cards (Promise) needed that when booting of it. I don't know how MBs hadle SATA controllers. It might be like a external device. Same with most SCSI devices. It's got it's own BIOS.

It's just an odd one... My NForce baord is enabled for 6 channel out. I have even configured the sound with Nvidia's NVSwap, and sound comes out of all the speakers with the test. Everything is enabled as it should be, or at least the way I've read about it.
