The all IPS panels is what intrigues me. DS26 is 18.0" h. HP is 17.4" wide so placed in portrait should fit OK. Plus they are on sale. Also, for most of the work day, each screen will have separate non-sli output.

I want to build a triple-monitor display for flight sims (was going to go 3x 20.1" LG) and don't know how important it is to match the dot-pitch among the monitors. I will be viewing the screens from a distance 3 to 5...

Most of the multi-displays that I see have a larger central panel flanked by two smaller panels - often in portrait mode. If my central panel is 25.5" diagonal at .287mm for $700, I am not sure I want to spend another $1,400 to match pixel size.
