Just saw this Nforce4 Ultra Mobo on Monarch Computer for $139 ... FoxConn CK804K8MA-KS Anyone seen one of these in the wild ? Foxconn isn't known to cater to the "enthusiast" crowd ... so I wonder what options have been left out to meet that price ...

look in the grub man page, or try %> info grub, there might be a parameter to put in the grub config file that says to use SCSI when loading from the linux drive. I think there was a parameter like that for LILO as well, never had to use it though (only IDE). good luck.

I'm about to shoot myself and throw that MX300 card down the elevator shaft ... can't get it to work on my new KT7 in windows 98 ... after a few hours, I finally got the drivers to finish installing without crashing the system ... but when I reboot, I hear about 1/2 second worth of sound before...
