What are you guys/gals opinions on TDK burners? Are they any good? I know Plextors are good, but I found a deal for a TDK for 109.00 for a 32x10x40 drive, not bad at all in my opinion. Thanks

No problem. Like I said before I have the same drive and the software worked for me. The win 2000 and Xp versions are the same. :)

The "Record now" (1st link) and "DLA" (4th link) software should be all you need. They are the same software that come with your drive just updated.

Nope, you should be able to just click and download.

HERE is a link for updated versions of the software that came with the 8250i. I also have that drive using winxp and no problems with the updated software. Good luck

Have you updated to the 436 patch? Goty is version 432.

Simple solution... If winxp is so bad and you can use other os's with NO problems, well...go back to another os and quit complaining.

some advice on norton av 2002 for xp. i have it installed and like many others i am "UNABLE" to scan without getting a script error. nortons response, "uninstall, then reinstall...then try scan again", same thing happens after reinstall. as of right now norton has not offered a fix for this...

Thanks for the reply jack :) As for cleaning the keyboard he has already tried that too...its weird that "a,s,d,f" keys would stop working at the same time, sure has me stumped.
