    XP1600 1.4@1.6 Alpha PAL8045 with 80mm fan. Room: 22C Was: Delta 68.5CFM 80mm fan for CPU (blowing) and 130CFM Y.S.Tech 120mm at side blow hole. CPU idle/loaded: 32/32 C MainBoard: 24C The Delta is too loud. I swapped it with a Y.S.Tech. Now: Y.S.Tech 48.5CFM 80mm (suction mode) and 130CFM...

    How can I modify my case to keep the volume of the Delta 68CFM quiet?

    You have the exactly same situation as I have. I have Antec KS-188 full size case. It was very loud with Delta fan on. So I put it into the closet in the room, close the door. It's much better. Good luck.
