    Dell 1400SC Server question

    I'm interested in Dell's current deal on a 1400SC dual proc ready server. My concern is that the second processor will require a VRM thus costing much more than simple P3 upgrade. Anyone know for sure if this is the case?

    LAST DAY: Dell Sm Biz Server SC1400 $661 or $763 w 1GB RAM

    This is a good deal but the problem is the cost of the second processor. The Gateway could be upgraded without an expensive VRM. I assume this motherboard requires a VRM. Is that true?

    gw 6400 upgrade question

    I'm ready to add a 2nd cpu to my gw 6400. I understand that I need to run muloader for system to recognize that I have 2 processors. Other than paying Gateway lots of money for the upgrade how do I get this program?
