    Just out of curiosity turn off the side panel fan,..see if your cpu temps go down, that's been my experience with the Ninehundred.

    Sounds like you need to reinstall your heat sink, don't use too much compound.

    First thing I would do is set the cpu back to stock settings, if it still freezes then think about replacing the psu!

    I would suggest replacing the power supply and yes I know it worked in your old system but,...your failures are typical of a marginal power supply,...700W!

    That's normal for Xp it will load drivers in there.

    All you have to do is set it to manual instead of auto and bump it to 267 and it will run at full rated speed.
