Oops. You guys are correct
(as he slides back under the rock)
BTW, my rebateshq has a check # too. Yippee!
These multi-part rebates take too much psychic energy
I believe the checks being issued by rebateshq are the Officemax portion of the Cendyne rebate. Recall that there were actually 2 portions. The manufacturer's portion seems to always show up on maxmyrebates.com ( or at least that has been my experience and the experience of those I know).
So...
:D These are "discontinued" and confirmed at $1.99 ea.
Just scored 2 in Sarasota, FL
The look on the salesman's face when he rang it up was priceless.
My only other comment is that sometimes the Sam's Club web site rebate center isn't clear about rebates. My experience tells me that the only DEFINITIVE source of information is the paper flyer available at B&M stores. If that doesn't mention UPC for this particular deal, then it's not needed.
Hmmm. unusual.
My last Sam's rebate for Kodak film required the UPCs from the boxes. Have you read the Sam's rebate flyer carefully? Are you sure UPCs aren't required?
Actually, the Rio Volt reads V2, V7, and V8 WMA files. Try this file converter if you want to convert MP3 to WMA V7 or V8. dBpowerAMP Music Converter
Download the V7 and/or V8 codecs from Codec Central (which is linked to on the dBpowerAMP Music Converter website.
We're now so far off topic...
Note: The unit on sale at CC for $59.95 (regular $69.95) is the Classic CM351. The unit reviewed at dmusic.com is the CM415.
No ID3 support on the CM351, and seems to have Much lower anti-shock values and poorer battery life when compared with CM415. Try this if you want more info.
EMIGlobal...
Colleague of mine bought the Classic at CC, and the POS plastic came apart in his hands within a week!
I got my Rio Volt for $116 (combination of display model and 10% "preferred buyer" deal), and IMO this is the only MP3 CD player to get.
The Napa was briefly on clearance at my...
Don't mean to be particularly nasty, but.......
Both Classic brand AND CC are CRAP. Classic is very cheap MP3 CD player with none of the features of slightly ($20) more expensive players.
I did the same as Santasanta, and am very pleased with the cards.
BTW, the Staples cards are usually pretty crappy looking, black on white, flimsy paper, no logo for $9.99
Just found out from Dell CSR that because they have a customer service center in some rural Florida town, they can get away with charging tax. Doesn't seem right to me...
