    Vcore too low???

Hello guys. I got an E6300 running at 3.0GHz (P5B deluxe) I was just a little worried about the voltage, I am only giving it 1.3250, is that too low?? I mean the system is running perfectly without any problems. I guess i am a little concerned because people that are running that kind of speed...

    Calling all overclockers -- E6400 vs E6600

if all you want is to over clock to 3ghz, the E6300 will do just fine, save yourself the 30bucks and spend it on some good ram. I can push my E6300 to 3.2Ghz without any problems, but I am happy with the 3. As for the over clocking board, I am really impressed with my asus P5B deluxe, its worth...

    Calling all overclockers -- E6400 vs E6600

P5B deluxe is a nice overclocker, no problem wat so over with mine. But some people don't like it and they prefer gigabyte. As long as you got 200+ to spend on a mobo, anything will overclock nicely I beieve

    Calling all overclockers -- E6400 vs E6600

I would go with an E6300 and over clock it to 3ghz or so, I am really happy with mine, and you get to save money. the voltage is at only 1.33V and 48C at full load

temp a little high when Overclocking E6300 & Asus P5B deluxe

I will try that as soon as I get home. I also had another question, when I turn on the PC, it turns on then off for about 2 seconds, and comes back on to boot, why is this happenin? its been doing this since I got it and before I touched the overclocking.

temp a little high when Overclocking E6300 & Asus P5B deluxe

I am using intlel's TAT, its reading 48 and 47 most of the times. so I think it is the core temp

temp a little high when Overclocking E6300 & Asus P5B deluxe

all I did was increase the FSB to 375 and the voltage went to 1.4 didn't touch the SpeedStep or C1E

temp a little high when Overclocking E6300 & Asus P5B deluxe

I downloaded a CPU Stability Test that ran for half an hour and the cpu temp went to 58 under burn which is not bad for full load , but it idles at 49, which is a problem. most people are idling at high 30s low 40s, I dunno why this is happening.

one more thing, the heatsink is very cool all the way around when I touch it.

yes it does. I have reapplied the thermal, its idling at 47-48 and load at 52. It's still kinda high, isn't?

ya, I really do think I applied the thermal paste wrong, I just applied it all over the place, I am going to reapply it right now and see what happens. And yes, the zalam is pusing the air to the rear fan and out of the case.
