    Coax Splitters

Wyndru if everything is working I would just leave it alone. Time Warner boxes and modems are conservative in their readings. Now would I let something into the red? Never but the yellow warning is fine. When I was a install tech for them I never even looked at signal I always looked at...

    Coax Splitters

6 TVs with digital boxes? Also is their any splitters outside? So your basic layout is: Service line (from outside) ---> 4 way splitter ---> 3 way splitter ---> tv. I would just use an amp. Typically anytime you have 4 or more pieces of equipment and you run into signal issues from outside...

Games you are glad got a sequel

Far cry and Assassin's Creed. Fry Cry 1 was amazing but I thought Far cry 2 sucked and was glad when I picked up Far Cry 3 it went back to being pretty good. Assassin's Creed the first was alright but they had a good concept and all the sequels have been better and better.

Raspberry Pi - the easiest and most affordable htpc solution

    Coax Splitters

Raspberry Pi - the easiest and most affordable htpc solution

wirednuts im gonna have to use your setup and see how it works. I bought one about a month ago, put raspbmc on it and was impressed with it until I got deeper into it. a 16GB rip of Avengers played crappy (shuttering every 5 minutes or so) and overall the GUI lacked a lot and menus were buried...

Need help about sending dig. cable sig. to another tv

Depending on what kind of signal you want (standard def or high def) you are going to have to run some cables if you want to piggy back off the DVR. You can put in an antenna to catch the air waves and that all depends on where the towers are in your area if you will get good signal or not.

    Coax Splitters

Amps can work its just how you do the wiring. Best thing to do with an amp is have your service line (line bringing service to the house), put a 2 way splitter on that. From the 2 way you will run one home run directly to the your modem (for internet, home phone, or both). On the 2nd leg of...
