Looking at getting a 32" HDTV for son's room. Wanting to connect a Wii and an older DVD player, both having Composite cables. Can I hook one to the Componet hookup with just the yellow, red, white connections?
It was a problem with a couple of the registry files, its working now.

Yes updates does appear in control and says its on, but I get the security center warning that it's off.
When I try to connect to Microsoft update from their site , I get code 0x80070424 and have followed some suggestions from there but nothing has worked.
I've installed SP3 from my thumb drive.
Picked a used Dell P4 with XP for my 10 Yr old son. It will not run Windows update and I don't see Automatic Update listed in 'services'. There has been no updates from Microsoft since the PC was new. Can I repair this or do I need to Reinstall XP?

I first bought some DDR2, NIB, from a guy on ebay and it didn't work. Patriot still replaced it for me, which I thought was great and am still using that 2 gig and another 4 gig in another unit. Haven't needed any DDR3, but I would definately consider it.
The power plug for the video card will be inside your computer, one of the wires coming from the PSU. Just go for the 4650 or 4670 and make sure you put it in the X16 slot.
