Please recommend a good gaming 27" LCD

I'm thinking of buying one, the budget being around 350$ or so. Gonna use it primarily for gaming/also photoshop work/viewing movies. I've been looking at the samsung 2770fh(sadly can't find it on any shop here in Romania atm), so if you got any other good suggestions please tell me. Others...

Has anyone managed to find a solution to jaggy/blocky shadows?

Sadly this has got nothing to do with the resolution the game is being played at. The shadows have a very weird behaviour as well (explained by the way the tech is being used) as in, it looks perfectly smooth from some angles and totally jagged from others. This is while you're sitting still...

Has anyone managed to find a solution to jaggy/blocky shadows?

From what i've been reading lately alot of people have issues with this, be it ATi cards or nvidia. I take it it's more of a issue in the game rendering technique used on the shadows themselves than the actual drivers/hardware. Maybe even a bit of directX involved ( something about shadows...

    Rivatuner not working (560 ti)

I have that castiel. Only reason i'm trying to use riva tuner is to fix the blocky/jagged shadows from some games. Apparently there was an option in rivatuner 3d settings similar to 24z bit stencil shadows that fixed the blockiness.

    Rivatuner not working (560 ti)

Hello. Basically i'm trying to use rivatuner 2.24c, but i don't get any forceware menu ( no settings at all), on a gtx 560 ti 267.26 drivers. Where it says " driver settings " forceware detected, but it's grayed out can't change anything, no additional icons. Any ideas if it's related to an...

[fixed] Dragon Age 2 Low Performance on Nvidia Cards [fixed]

Hmm weird stuff groover. They're not really whql true that, and there will be more changes until that gets released but on the other hand people over at guru/rage/nvidia forums report huge performance increases. Haven't tested myself though since i have no clue what's the worse that can happen...

[fixed] Dragon Age 2 Low Performance on Nvidia Cards [fixed]

It's been already fixed via the 267.59 driver as i mentioned before. Double the performance, back to beating ATi.

[fixed] Dragon Age 2 Low Performance on Nvidia Cards [fixed]

The 267.59 driver dramatically improves performance apparently. Like almost double it making very high dx11 playable smoothly. Now the problem is it's only for 550 ti and 450. So you need to mod/get a modded inf file for the rest of the cards. Sidenote: can anyone with xp tell me if it's...

[fixed] Dragon Age 2 Low Performance on Nvidia Cards [fixed]

One can only hope the issues lie in the drivers and not in the cards themselves. Pretty funny how ATi ( they still get the blame on bad drivers etc when compared to nvidia even nowadays when it's no longer the case) have the superior drivers. Anyway the 6990 obliterates 580s in every single...

[fixed] Dragon Age 2 Low Performance on Nvidia Cards [fixed]

I'm not really playing it atm. Gonna wait for a fix instead but it's rather sad that i have to do that on an AAA title that's all. And to CVSIN yes 50 fps is bad on a 580. You should have 60 constant. I should have 50 on my gtx 560ti. And no it's not me having retarded expectations. As long...

[fixed] Dragon Age 2 Low Performance on Nvidia Cards [fixed]

Sure the game doesn't need 60 fps to be playable. But let's take a closer look to the situation shall we? You have a gtx 580 - the fastest single-gpu on the market from nvidia. Not everyone can afford that, not even gonna go into sli-discussions. Yet not even on that card does it run fully...

[fixed] Dragon Age 2 Low Performance on Nvidia Cards [fixed]

Too bad you're the only one with a 580 reporting "smooth" gameplay. Tons of people are using the beta drivers yet you manage something noone else has. Or, you simply sugar-coat it and .. quoting : " no stutters, no hiccups no texture issues " - with the beta drivers noone is getting that...
