just screw it in. There is a small metal ring around the holes that will give you some lee way.

I've used rubbing alcohol before and it works good. Scrape off with a razor blade as much as you can. Be easy though. Take your Q-tip, tip it in the alcohol and clean it off. No problem.

I'm not real familer with the LSI U160 but the windows drivers might not be as good as the manufacturers. I know this is the case with the RAID drivers I have used in the past.

I would just format the drive. Go to my computer and right click. Select format.

Should of mentioned that I've already tried that, it doesn't get past Inventory. It just sits there.

HI A friend of mine has a Dell Inspiron and I am trying to update to SP2. I went to windows update and downloaded and installed alot of updates but now I get the service pack 2 option and it won't download and instal it just sits there.

What I was talking about was you don't lose space by using two drives. If you have two 60 gig drives you will have one 120 gig drive when runing RAID 0, thus not wasting anything. So you post back that I am a dumb dumb and a clown........ummmm OK So RAID 0 is crap.....
