Thanks Woodie I had a similar problem today at work. Those net commands are extremely useful. Never used the print one before though. You learn something new here everyday. :)
Net send "user name" then the message. Just open a command window and type net send /? and you will get all the switches. You can also send it to a whole domain or workgroup, be careful with that one though. ;)
I don't know why you got the beeps but a lot of people seem to have this problem with the board checking the Ram, including myself. My problem seemed to be a faulty IDE cable.
I reset the cmos using the jumper and tried tapping on the delete still nothing. The funny thing is I forgot to put the first ide cable in and it booted up past the nvram and the sat there looking for somehting on that channel.

I have mediaone cable modem (which is the same as @home or owned by ATT???). To get to the internet I think you have to get DNS from them unless your Dns server itself is out on the internet. You could add your dns server staticly or through DHCP for your Lan for browsing hosts on your lan but...
I think you can just go to the control panel and the users and passwords applet and there should be a box that you can disable the control alt delete requirement. I don't know if that helps.
This is a great board I have been running it for several months with no problems. I think the one with the raid just has a r at the end (ga7dxr) or a -r.
