I got mine new from Newegg for $40 and can't believe how quiet it is. No sound difference from low to high fan speed. My case is so silent now I can only barely hear my Zalman VF900 when it's going full speed. The typhoon was pretty easy to install too and I'm getting great temps.

That's all I did. Received it yesterday along with my Thermaltake Big Typhoon and that combination is running nice and cool at 25C idle and 31c load. Nice and cool.

Is this hard to do? Any other reason not to get the $104 board, because that seems like a great price.

Thanks, I'm still a little confused on the $104 one though because in the reviews on the site there's a bunch of people who are using SLI on that board too.

That's another reason I wanted to unlock the board because I want to get that processor deal. If I just stick that chip in, will the motherboard automatically readjust its settings to allow for the faster clock speed? I thought since it was locked that I wouldn't see any advantage of a faster...

Check out the Casio Z850. You should be able to get it for under $300 online easily, has a 2.5" lcd, great movie mode using MPEG4, and a ton of great manual options and other bells and whistles (continuous mode with flash). Great camera.
