Here's more info on the firewire card. The Adaptec web site link-- http://www.adaptec.com The card is 32 bit & 33 MHZ. The card supports 30 frames/sec. The User Guide does not specify the card's chipset. [Be aware that not all chips work reliably with iPods. Adaptec uses Nec's, TI, etc...
