I would never go SLI. Much rather get a single card that's as good as what I'd do SLI. The upgarde from this would be the GTX 680 in 12+ months. PS: At this moment I'd actually go with the GTX 570 until I upgarded to the 680.

Why are you spending @$600 for that CPU when for @$300 you can get an I7-2500 which based upon tons of research appears to be just as good for gaming? Also, that is a lot to spend "now" on a GPU when the new Nividia 600 series should be out end of this month. -CC
