Last night I tried to upgrade to the latest ATI driver (10.x). It only gets worse -- if the HDTV is turned off and later turned back on, the display gets corrupted.
I used to have nVidia 6600 and Asus HD 4350 with the same setting and it works fine.
The driver is the latest from Gigabyte (dated 2010). ATI has more recent driver but my experience with non manufacturer driver has more issues.

I am trying to move the OS from a PATA drive to a SATA drive. Does this mobo has a bios option to set the SATA channel to be compatible to IDE so that the SATA drive can be detected by drive copying software as an IDE drive? Or is there any drive copying software that recognize SATA natively...
This is my first epox mobo. The chipset fan is really loud, even louder than the fan on the X800 video card. And the noise is even a bit irregular. Is it normal for the ultra board? Or do I have a defective hsf?
Thanks!
I have an Antec case with 120mm fan. My video card fan is also loud - Radeon X800, along with the chipset fan. I stopped video card fan and what remains is the chipset fan. CPU and case fan is quiet.
To answer my own question, you have to use DIMM solt 1&2 first. I used 3&4 and got C1 with the fan plugged in. Still, that is weird, with and without fan.
