ended up using a ZALMON 9700, which solved my heating issues. seems to be stable now. it looked like the zerotherm nirvana was mounted correctly, so i'm not really sure what the problem was.. has anyone tried overclocking QX9770 with a ZALMON or something comparable?

hey i'm experimenting with my gtx 280 and was just wondering what kind of stable overclock i should expect. i'm using regular fan cooling. right now i'm running 685 core & 1185 memory. does anyone know how high i could get it without serious heating issues? what is the max temp for this card...
