Sorry for asking a question that has probably been asked before. I'm thnking about getting a Biostar TA790GX and using it with my BE-2300 (low power) CPU.
I already have 2x1gb ram. should I buy this and use 4x1gb or just go ahead and get the OZC Reaper 2x2gb ram that's on sale right now. I do...
you see what happens when you start reading Anandtech? Now I'm thinking about a Biostar TForce TA790GX. it's only about $20 more than TF560at ewiz. 2x2gb of OCZ Reaper ram at Newegg.
Can someone comment on any of the above? Eventually I would want to go quad core and I don't think the TF560...
Thanks...I have a Thermalright Ultra120 extreme, it's a monster, I should be ok. I guess I'm just not sure on exactly what 50% performance boost actually means?
So I'm running a BE-2300 on a M2A_VM @ 2.1. with 2 gb of ram.
It would cost me about $120 shipped for 2x2gb of ram and a Biostar TF560 mobo. Assuming I can overclock the cpu to about 3 or 3.1. Will I see a significant improvement on performance.
I don't do anything that requires a fast pc...
I'm hoping someone can help me pick what ram i need. I'm currently running a AMD BE-2300 with an M2A-VM and 2 gigs of ram. I'm thinking about a cheap upgrade. a Biostar TF560 that can probably OC the chip to about 3 gig, and picking up 2x2gig of ram.
which one of these Super Talent should I...
that really depends on what they buy. I asked a friend to get me a 880GT using his employee discount. Let's just I could've just bought it from Newegg or something. At best, it was a few dollars off.
same here, my xfx shipped today. the MSI order was cancelled. I don't remember doing it, but whatever, 1 card is better than none. And yes, I did approve the delay when Dell emailed about it.
iI should've went with this but opt'ed for the U120e. It was only a few bucks more at the time. Most reviews put these 2 on the same level. I ran my low-power AMD chip fanless and the heatsink was just warm. I'm assuming the Tuniq should have the same performance.
COUGH! someone doesn't watch Stargate Atlantis.
EDIT: Just incase someone thinks I'm implying Atlantis is one of the best SciFi shows. I'm not, simply saying that Kaylee from Serenity is on SGA as the new doctor.
picked up the combo on friday. it's up and running. I upgraded from an AGP system so it's nice I can still run dual monitors without buying a new video card.
