    The higher frequency RAM (the 3500 would be a good choice) is so you can raise your FSB as high as possible without your RAM bottlenecking you.

    Apply a thin layer of thermal paste to the cpu dye. What ram do you have? It's best to raise the FSB as much as possible as this (almost always) provides better performance per mHz increased.
