    No. I have a great 1440p monitor (IMO) and it already takes some beefy hardware to feed it with all the eye candy turned on.

    Wow, good job! I have the same cooler and cpu and I'm sitting at 4.6 but I'm definitely going to try for 50 when I get home.

    You really dont need a lot of bandwidth to play online games. As long as you have a reasonable ping you will be fine.

    With the stock fan its pretty quiet and at 4.2 on my 2500K it kept it around 70c under load. However I didnt have it set up as an intake as recommended, because of the way my case is designed I could only use it to exhaust the air.
