hi Jwilson02, this is off topic but I'm thinking of buying the Dell E1705 with the same LCD you have. Is that monitor glossy and if so is it too reflective outside?

I think I heard dell was going to release a new laptop based on Centrino Pro a.k.a. Santa Rosa around April, but Intel announced Centrino Pro will be released on May 8th. If you can I would wait until then. You'll either be able to buy the current systems cheaper or pickup one of the new ones.

On laptops you are usually stuck with the video card that it comes with. I'm fairly certain without researching your particular model, that you are stuck with that video card on the laptop.

I just did the same upgrade on my Dell 600m the 60GB 7200 Drive makes such a huge difference its not even funny.
