    It sure did. Samsung 980 pro has a performance mode, if enabled it went up to 60C idle. I installed a heatsink and it came down to 40C idle. Pcie 4.0 ssd gets very hot. You need a heatsink

    I recently helped someone else with the same problem on another forum. Here is the fix: Unplug your DP cable and insert a HDMI cable to your GPU.

    Theyre trying same guerilla tactics they did towards AMD 15 years ago. This is bad news if it means AMD wont be able to compete again.

    AMD has backtracked, but they still havent kept their promise to 100%. I got a Asus Crosshair VI extreme x370 board. It is a beast and sucks to be kept out of support.

    My problem is that it sucks to upgrade motherboard considering how good the CH6 is. It is not like CH8 is any better in games. Maybe 1-2 fps.
