Purchased the 3225 a while back and updated the POIs. My parents just purchased the 3140. I was going to update the POI but when I checked the Map folder it has the US48_POI.POI with a 300801 KB file. Does it require updating. The file is bigger than the one now in my 3225.

Has anyone compared the Garmin Nuvi 250 with the Magellan 3225. I am concerned that it may not be as easy to upgrade the 3225 map software as it is with the Garmin. I am new to this and am guessing that the software will need to be updated occassionally to keep up with road and changes.
