I bought one of these a few weeks ago and am able to run completely passively (0 fans), though I am using integrated ATI Xpress 1250 video which is enough for my purposes. The rest of the specs are as follows:
CPU: C2D e6600 @2.4GHz (stock)
Heatsink: Thermalright SI-120
MB: ABIT Fatal1ty...
Solved my own problem... the motherboard was reporting the wrong CPU temp and auto shutdown was enabled. Not sure why both versions of the BIOS do not report the correct temperature however.
I recently put together a system and encountered a problem that neither me nor my friends have seen before and am afraid it might be a bad motherboard since I have ruled out almost every other factor.
The system is an ABIT Fatal1ty F-I90HD with e6600 C2D and 2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800...
This board is supposed to be good for OC-ing, but not great for undervolting. I don't have anything against Jon Wendel, but I wish the manufacturers would concentrate a little more on quality and design for these "gamer"-type products...
1024x768 and you're only getting 20fps with a 7900gtx??? I've never played this game before, but looking at the requirements, I think the source of the problem is probably due to some other failing component in your system (if not the video card itself).
