Nope, HD is running solo on primary PATA. DVD is master of the secondary with a CD/RW as a slave. (gee, I love all this sex talk);) Both optical drives are set to "DMA,if availabl", however transfer mode is greyed out and says"PIO mode" Is it possible this drive is not capable of DMA...

Thanks....Ihave tried removing all TSR's but no luck, however you are right about the IDE cable. When I get time this weekend I'll have to crack it open and give that a shot.:thumbsup:

This is a new install of a Benq DVD burner. It occurs in all movies. I'm usind NERO 6 (Show Time) It appears to run continuesly.

While playing movies (with any player) my picture stalls or skips for just a moment.:confused:

My advice, call upon the dark powers of Satan. That will erase most HDs and ex-wives.:evil:
