Though I'm a die hard Mac fanboy, the one Apple product I'm not in love with is the keyboard that came with my iMac. I prefer a bit more action in the keys and tactile definition. Is anyone using an alternative USB keyboard that's made for Mac?
I've used Windows keyboards with my Mac before...
I spend $20 a month and get a VPS at KnownHost. It's plenty fast and has plenty of space and bandwidth. Plus you get shell access and a dedicated IP so you can run anything you want.
To top it all off it's "semi-managed" meaning their support is great. They'll install/upgrade software...
What RSS software does everyone use? I'm not a fan of Google Reader or other web-based solutions - I prefer something I can run locally.
What are you guys using?
Hey AT,
I'm looking for a web design/development firm to build an app for my startup. Our idea is pretty fleshed out, and we have v1.0 code to work from, though we really would like a total redesign/rebuild from the ground up.
Experience with social applications and PHP is preferable, as...
Thanks for the recommendations guys. Interesting that people recommend DW - I've always thought of it kind of as bloatware...
I'll give Notepad++ a shot - mostly because it's free :)
I use a PC at work, and want to do some PHP programming in my downtime. At home I use a Mac with Transmit and Textmate for programming. It's easy because I just double click the remote file and it opens in Textmate. It hit save in Textmate, and Transmit automatically uploads the changed file...

You may want to clarify your understanding of Wall Street before you go investing in those stocks. Blackstone (BX) and Fortress Investment Group (FIG) are not hedge funds - they're private equity firms. Though perhaps these days the line is being blurred, they're still not the quite the same...
I think maybe not a lot of people have heard of Charlie Bartlett. I saw it and really loved it. It reminded me of Ferris Bueller's Day Off in a way, but not as slapstick. Checkout the trailer below and judge for yourself.

Seriously all you need in this case is the bond pricing formula. Google it.
Furthermore, if you're a finance major, you may want to re-evaluate your decision.
Tough Sh*t. Company A is not required to do anything to compensate Company B's option holders for the loss of value. At the time of the acquisition, the deal would have been approved by both companies shareholders - meaning if Company B's shareholderes thought this was coming, they shouldn't...
You do realize that it's the same thing. You've said that you have a long term horizon, and that you're assuming MSFT succeeds in acquiring YHOO. In that case, it's the same stock/company.
Checkout the Citi Dividend Card for Students. I started with a $1000 limit 4 years ago and now have $20,000. It gives 3% rewards on gas, groceries, and utilities, and 1% on everything else.
I agree with what you're saying. If you have researched all the issues, and abortion is the one that is most important to you, I encourage you to vote on the basis of that. That is an issues based vote. It's not my place to say abortion is less important than the economy. But I do not respect...
