Sounds like the same problem I was just having, try these steps: 1. Reseat your ram and put one in at a time to make sure its not the chips 2. Try reseating some things like your vid card 3. Load either Fail Safe or Optimized defaults in your bios (these put less stress on your cpus components)...

Try tricking the system. By that I mean put the card that works in and put the one that you want in as well (the agp or the other pci). With both cards in turn your system on then when you get into windows load the drivers for the card that you want then turn the system off, take the old one...
