I don't mean to be rude, but the question I asked was if I can use nvidia reference drivers on my asus v8200. Has anyone done this without frying their card? I understand that asus is not a reference design. I'm asking this because I want to use the 3d laser xhair that comes with the asus...

Some people just can't deal with flats. I'm one of them, I tried one for a week and couldn't get used to it, so I went with a semi flat 950P and it's great. Seems to be brighter too.

P.S. I looked into the KDS once at Best Buy, the salesman there warned me off of them saying they get alot back. NEC used to be the industry leader, now they clearly are the best among the worst monitors. I would avoid NEC. again......my 2 cents. Not redeemable at face value.

No, I cannot get it to run with standard vga adapter setting in windows. It won't even work right on POST right after turning on. That leads me to believe it is hosed. And these things ALWAYS happen to me. LOL. I never get anything to work right out of the box.
