^ Yes it is. Actually on this PS it comes as short adapter that plugs into another 8 pin plug. But only 4 of those pins are being used. The only other 4 pin connector on this PS is the one that would be used for the 24pin ATX connector. So I'm about 99.9999% certain I didn't mix them up.
