Well, you were correct. After RMA'ing my DOA GeForce 6800 GT and getting one that works, I installed the appropriate drivers, and Poof! Suspend/Hibernate works. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm sure I'd have figured it out once I installed the specific drivers.

Well, you may very well have hit the nail on the head. When I built the machine, I ordered a GeForce 6800, which arrived DOA. I threw in an older AGP Matrox card, but didn't install the drivers for it, since I didn't want to muck up the install. Thusly, I'm running in VGA mode right now...
