Just a quick update after three weeks of torture - I finally found the culprit. One of my sticks of ram somehow went bad. It's the ultra-expensive Corsair DDR2 1066 too... Weirdness. Anyway, I took out the offending stick and it's once again stable at its 3.5 GHz OC. :)

I'm having the same problem with an E6700 on an Asus P5B. Spontaneous reboots (but I'm running Vista), and it's been up about the same time as yours (4 months). Weirdness.

What kills me about it is that Nvidia continues to release drivers for vista, and they say that the 7950 GX2 is supported in the newest ForceWare bundle. I emailed their tech support over a week ago, and they haven't responded.

Finally resolved this problem. Somehow even my BIOS only saw one core, so I had to hard-reset the mobo (take out battery, and use the reset jumper) and reinstall everything from scratch. Works like a dream now. Getting 9950 3dmarks.

There are reports on the Asus forums of the p5b reporting incorrect temps. While your cpu has been under load for a while, carefully touch your heatsink - If it's just warm then your temperature is likely being misreported. You could also use a thermometer if you have one around.
