Yes....I am now using the 1.16 driver and everything works great. I wouldn't have thought using the Windows update site would have screwed things up, but I guess that's not the case.

What if some idiot, not mentioning any names, used the Windows update page like you said not to do. How do I fix my mistake. Is that why I have the following problem? Under AHCI in BIOS my DVD drive disappears from device manager. If I switch back to IDE the DVD drive reappears.
