Maybe the problem is like with the Samsung 226BW. Sone will have LGP panels, some others CMO...

L226WTQ use a LG-Philips panel, 2 ms. L226WT is a different model, with a CMO panel, 5 ms, without overdrive. Both use the same settings for colors. I've opened both displays ;)
