SP2 is definitely worth upgrading to. In fact, my experience it that you won't need the 4 in 1 drivers any longer and that your machine will be much more stable and fast. Also, I don't know if it affects you or not, but SP2 now supports Dolby Digital pass-thru if you run a multimedia PC.

FYI you can do it by one of 2 ways. Either download Tweak UI or open regedit. Under \HKEY Current User\Control Panel\Desktop.
Look for a string called "PaintDesktopVersion" Change the Hexadecimal value to 0. Reboot.
