I cut the cord about 8 months ago and I don't miss cable TV at all. I opted for an Apple TV, but a Roku is probably better a buy right now. I basically stream from Netflix, watch OTA, rent movies through iTunes, and see some network shows CBS/ABC/NBC/CW streamed from my iPad/iPhone. Oh yeah...

I find it more comfortable to hold the phone in this orientation while shooting video. Plus, my fingers are less likely to block the lens when holding the phone in portrait mode.

Anybody know of an iPhone app that lets you shoot video in landscape mode while holding the phone in portrait mode? I know iVideoCamera camera does, but resolution tops out at 320x400.

I highly recommend Majestic Media Server. I've tried the other apps mentioned in this thread, and this is my personal favorite. http://www.majesticsoftware.com.au/mms.lml I'm using the older version (1.1.4) of the software since it's free.

I also want to do a complete restore, but honestly I will probably wait until OS X Lion comes out. But, can I wipe my HDD, do a clean install from Lion, and then restore from my TimeMachine backup? I am also concerned about all my media (pictures, music, etc.).

I like it, and the only thing preventing me from cutting my cable cord and going Hulu/Netflix/Zune exclusive is the amount of content on Hulu Plus that is listed as "web only". As soon as they allow more content, I will gladly make the switch.

I can't use Windows 7 at school right now at all. Their network only allows Win XP or Windows Vista. Cheapest I have found Vista for is about $90. Would be nice if I could get it for $30. They have stated that they will not support Windows 7 until some time after the official release...

Is there anywhere to get Vista for that cheap? My school's wireless network will not take W7 and I need windows for boot camp.
