Nero CD burning/Medium Speed Error

Using Win2k and nero. Newest aspi drivers in both win2k and nero. Whenver i try to burn a cd however, it gives me a "medium speed error". I've tried with cdrs, cdrws, and different speeds, even 1x. Anyone know whats up with this?
