actually, it does fit. the notebook sticks out maybe an inch at the top but the velcro flap will cover it, and the sides are wider but a perfect fit for the power and other cables. there's not a lot of padding though.

yeah, noticed that too but if you read the customer comments, it seems that the bag fits 14" laptops. i did end up ordering the sleeve with a 20% sale the other day. i'll let you know how it turns out.

still haven't picked out a sleeve, but i did come across this one that i liked at ebags i'm trying to figure out what combo of sleeve & notebook bag i should get. timbuk2s are nice and if you're interested in one, the best deal you'll get on the timbuk2 commute laptop bag is at rei-outlet...

looking for a sleeve too... i'm considering the booq vyper m @ booqbags. anyone have one of these? other options... http://www.sfbags.com/products...ecases/sleevecases.htm all i've read are good things about this sleeve from sfbags, but it gets pricey once you start adding in the options...
