Whenever it connects to the EN network it says "Connected at 230 Kbps", but the connection is painfully slow, more of the order of 2-3 kbps. One time I saw that I could download a file upto 12 kbps, and thats the maximum I could get.
How are you guys getting 60-70 kbps? please advise....

hey guys, please help me out. I have the cendyne 32x12x48 CDRW (Mitsumi) as a slave and HP9100i as the master (on different IDE cables). The 32x CDRW is connected on the same IDE as the hard drive. The problem is, when I start the PC, the logon music in Win2k is so screwed up, and the CPU usage...

well, My AOpen drive works like a charm. the "justlink" and "justspeed" technologies are awesome...copied an audio CD with 19 songs (78 minutes~680 MB) in 4:22. Sweet!!! I saw the Z-CLV actually working. I used a TDK 24X cdr (taiwan) by the way!!! :)
The AOpen drive ROCKS...outperforms Liteon, Plextor and the TDK in several tests, and gets the "safebuy" award from the reviewers at cdrinfo. Go figure... :) by the way, it is the only one that can rip the cactus protected cds in its class.
