Why do I need a reservoir?

:D Thank you for all that info! I hadn't realized that losing water would be a problem. I've gone ahead and ordered one of these. ;) if only I had an extra 5 1/4 drive free...

Why do I need a reservoir?

I'm finally getting around to putting together my watercooling rig, and I'm starting to ask myself, "Whats the point in a resevoir?". I'm using a large (9 inch by 6 by 2) radiator, a home-made maze2 clone, an eheim 1048 waterpump and 3/8 inner diameter tubing. That all has a large capacity for...

A lil' motherboard help (or is it?)

You need to change the jumper (should be J17) to get speeds of 133Mhz and up. Check section 2-4 of your manual. :)

    Noise of watercooled setups?

I'm assuming that my motherboard is just reporting the temps wrong. It is a 60mm fan, and I'm not worried about wether its keeping hte CPU cool enough or not, because I've yet to have any stability problems. I haven't looked around too much for watercooling reviews, but from what I've seen...

    What SDRAM for 440LX?

I've got a few BX motherboards that I've put new 256M chips into. They get recodnized as 128M, but otherwise work fine; so I would assume that it really doesn't matter what you buy - it should *work*, even if not as advertised. :P

    Noise of watercooled setups?

Right now I've got an Athlon 1800+ cooled by a low CFM 16dB fan on a decent copper heatsink. Under load (seti), the motherboard reads ~60C for CPU temps. I'd like to lower the temp but *not* raise the noise. This setup has been stable for 6 months like this, so no real worries there. Does...

solutions to backing up a windows box via the network, complete image of it

I'm not sure if this would work or not, but if you can map the drives over the network, you might be able to use Ghost or some such program on them. Webdrive works well for ftp mapping if that matters...

    Server Question

How much traffic do you expect each client to use? Will they all ONLY be displaying dynamic content, or will there be static content as well? I host ~30 user forums on a k6-2/450 with less than 1% nominal CPU usage during access times (a high of 15 users at a time jumped to ~10%).

More European nations support U.S. on Iraq

What bothers me is that France and Russia (And through France and the E.U, Germany) are, in defiance of the U.N trade embargo, trading oil with Iraq. They get cheap oil, but only so long as the embargo lasts... I wonder why they would oppose war?
